Calling all old school Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chevy Chevelle, El Camino, GMC, Corvair, and Monte Carlo owners, Original Parts Group is hosting an event just for you. Custom tailored to muscle car enthusiasts, the 2018 Summer Series is shaping up to draw out some of the coolest GM muscle cars around. Each of the brands is getting their own show days, so you can mingle with your own kind, or go check out some of the other brands under the GM umbrella.
Kicking off first is the Buick car show on May 19th, 2018. This show is open to all pre-1987 Buick models. Pontiac owners get their day on June 9th for all Pontiac models made before 1987. Chevy is limiting their registration to Chevelles, pre-1983 Malibus El Camino, Monte Carlos, Corvairs, and GMC models, this event will be held on Saturday, July 14th. The Oldsmobile show is being held for pre-1987 Olds models on August 18th. And to wrap up the summer, September 15th will mark the Cadillac car show for pre-1993 models.
All shows are being hosted at the Original Parts Group headquarters in Seal Beach, CA. Spectators get into all events for free. Each of these individual events cost $34 per vehicle to register, and registration includes a free event t-shirt and goodie bag. Only 150 cars will be allowed for each date, so itâs encouraged to register at least 2 weeks prior to each event, as it is as first come, first serve admissions entry. A partial portion of the proceeds from the series will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project & Community Family Guidance Center.
Staging for all shows begins at 7:30 am on their respective dates, with shows running from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. OPG will have a live DJ, food trucks on site, drawings, and give out trophies during an award ceremony. This is a canât miss series for anyone on the west coast! Click here to register now.
