The GM “Colonnade” A-bodies of ’73-77 rarely get much love from the aftermarket, but their owners can now get the benefit of getting better response and performance from their suspension, all thanks to these new rear trailing arms from QA1. These mid-70s A-Body trailing arms will help your vehicle to plant firmly into the pavement. They are designed for increased traction, more stability, and better handling.

QA1’s modern rear trailing arm design for A-Bodies are made to eliminate flexing and distortion that is common when using stamped steel factory arms. The new product lineup includes three main parts: upper tubular, upper heavy-duty adjustable, and lower boxed.

The boxed trailing arms used polyurethane bushings on both ends, and the adjustable trailing arms use a spherical ball or rod end assembly that allows the suspension to move smoother, providing better control. Learn more about these new GM A-Body rear trailing arms in the official release below.

Upper and Lower Trailing Arms for GM Applications — Now Available for 73-77 GM A-Body Vehicles

Get better performance out of your suspension with QA1’s new rear trailing arms! If you drive a Chevelle, Cutlass, Regal or any other GM A-Body vehicle, these American-made trailing arms will help keep your tires planted for increased traction, stability and handling. QA1’s modern design will not flex and distort like factory stamped steel trailing arms.

All upper tubular and lower boxed trailing arms use polyurethane bushings on both ends, while upper adjustable and lower tubular trailing arms use a spherical ball or rod end assembly on the chassis end to eliminate bushing bind, allowing the suspension to move smoother for better control. This keeps the tires planted firmly on the ground for improved traction and a more predictable, better handling car. For a long-lasting finish, tubular and boxed trailing arms are powder-coated gloss black, while the adjustable arms are zinc plated and anodized.

Boxed Trailing Arms are constructed from 0.120″ wall cold rolled steel tubing for maximum strength and flex elimination. These trailing arms have fluted, greasable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings.

Tubular Trailing Arms are constructed from 1-1/4″ diameter, 0.120″ wall steel tubing which offers increased strength over other designs, but also have the added advantage of lighter weight. These trailing arms have fluted, greasable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings.

Heavy-Duty Adjustable Trailing Arms allow easy rear suspension adjustments for optimum handling and traction. Simply loosen the jam nuts and adjust the pinion angle without removing the arms from the vehicle. They replace soft OE differential bushings with polyurethane differential bushings, and they use a spherical ball or rod end assembly with UHMW polyethylene bushings on the chassis end to allow the rear suspension to move more freely and eliminate bushing bind.
