Has it really been twelve years, already? Time certainly flies by; we remember visiting the very first All-Mustang Show at Summit Racing back in 2003, and it seems to keep growing every year! This year’s show didn’t disappoint either, as Mustangs from every vintage were in attendance – many of which were some of the rarest and highly desirable examples on planet Earth! Many of which were homegrown examples, belonging to members of Buckeye Stangs who put on the event on behalf of Summit Racing Equipment. Registration was only $10/car and there were plenty of goodies to be had from those who entered the event.
We scoured the entire premises, and were presented with at least 500 examples of an eclectic selection of Mustangs to shoot for this story. We weren’t let down. From early ’64-1/2 convertibles, to ’70 BOSS 302s, there was something for everyone. There was even an entire line of Mustang IIs that were probably the cleanest in the world! Hey, they’ve been at that age for a while now, and the stigmas ached to those cars should have long-since expired. So check out the selection we have for you below – you won’t be disappointed!
If you’re looking for the show results, you can find the full report from the Buckeye Stangs’ website, HERE.

We spotted this beautiful ’69 Shelby GT500 at the show, mixed in with some late-model iron. Packing a 428 Cobra Jet, this thing was simply beautiful!

This retro/vintage road racer was one of the coolest cars at the event, and we couldn’t help but clean our drool off of the driver’s side fender…

This is the BOSS 302 powerplant that sits under the hood of the yellow example in our lead photo – CLEAN!
- This early Mustang was done in Shelby livery…
- …and even featured Ol’ Carroll’s signature on top of the air cleaner – cool!
- Don’t laugh; the Mustang II is quickly on its way back up – including this ’78 King Cobra example we spotted at the show. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen them this clean in Northeast Ohio…
- …and it’s subtle, humble and often labeled low-performance 302 and every one of its 130 horses were accounted for!
