The Dream Giveaway team offers people a unique opportunity to own their dream cars, when they haven’t had the chance to before. They put rare and highly collectible vehicles up for grabs, and all the sudden, you can get behind the wheel of one for the price of a raffle ticket, as opposed to the upwards of hundreds of thousands these are generally worth. Being raffled off this go-round is a perfect representative of what’s commonly agreed to be the ‘King of the Muscle Cars’, a 1970 Chevelle SS.
Back in the 1970s, Chevrolet created a muscle car so many would fall in love with over the decades. This beautiful monster of a car is big block powered and signified the real beginning of the iconic muscle car era. In 2017, the 1970 Chevelle SS is still the boss of whatever road its tires are on, but many people don’t have the chance to drive them. Due to their icon status, most of them have been swept up and put away, or sold to collectors at top dollar through auctions, so finding one requires deep pockets and lots of patience.
When Dream Giveaway Garage heard about a fully restored 1970 Chevelle SS 396 up for grabs, they locked it down with the seller right away. In case you haven’t been following, this Chevelle is the first one being raffled off by the team. If you want to get in on this, be sure to enter CODE: TQ0717V.
This deep black with white strip muscle car is a one-of-a-kind Chevelle. It was custom ordered through Brennecke Chevrolet in Jackson, Missouri with many features that were exclusive to special order cars, including:
- A51 – Strato Bucket Seats
- B22 – SS Door Emblems
- D88 – Hood and deck stripes
- F41 – Special Performance suspension
- G80 – Positraction Axle
The restoration exemplifies the mission of Original Parts Group, a partner of Dream Giveaway, as it features the most correct restoration parts available. It was chosen to represent OPG at this year’s SEMA show, where it will be on display.
Some might even consider this Chevelle to be better-than-new! Your only question about entering to win should be where you will store it if you’re the lucky new owner. The winner of this concours-restored 1970 Chevelle SS 396 will also receive $10,000 towards the taxes of the car. Buy your tickets here now.
