If you’ve been keeping track of the Fast & The Furious franchise, you already know that there’s been hundreds of different builds throughout the seven installments. Some are pretty wicked, while others don’t quite align with our personal taste. One vehicle in the fourth installment, Fast & Furious (4), is a 1967 Chevy C10 truck and we’re a little bit in love with it.

The copper color Chevy truck was used in the film for a fuel heist (it had a brief appearance), and was one of the more radical vehicles built for the film. It was made with a custom-built rear frame from the cab back, and is powered by a 502-cubic inch engine under the hood — packing goodies from MSD Performance, Holley Performance and Hedman Hedders.

This truck has a giant ladder bar suspension with airbags and uses a beastly 10-ton rear axle, borrowed from a semi. To add to its robust image, the biggest and widest tires the crew could stuff under it were used. What they ended up with match the rear tires you’d typically see used on tanker trailers. Looks wise, this truck makes a helluva impact.

Nowadays, it’s a privately owned vehicle, not quite practical enough as a daily driver, and certainly not as a work truck. The new owner, George Jackson, ran across the truck in 2012, in Texas, and had to grab the unique pickup. George is actually a stuntman, and he likes his famous Chevy because it’s unique, and he knew he’d enjoy it. He actually really likes taking it out because people always ask to get a closer look, and it’s a definite conversational piece!

The truck is now driven on the streets of Los Angeles, and stands out even more than it did when George lived in Texas. Not to mention, he likes to take it to ‘inappropriate’ places like upscale trendy L.A. restaurants. We can definitely see why this C10 gets so much attention, it’s a true one-of-a-kind movie vehicle.
