1973-1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Swap Parts from Holley

Official Release:

1973-1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Swap Parts

Holley is pleased to announce the release of awesome new products this week. Hooker BlackHeart‘s Gen III Hemi swap program now includes the 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body. Dart, Valiant, Duster, and Demon owners can now take advantage of modern power with Hooker BlackHeart’s engine mounts, transmission adapters and crossmembers, and of course, headers. Holley has released a power steering hardline kit for 1967-1976 Mopar A-Bodies that are Gen III Hemi-swapped, as well.

Hooker BlackHeart 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Engine Swap Mounts

Hooker Blackheart engine swap mounts allow easy installation of the Gen III Hemi engine in your 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body. These engine mount assemblies are part of an engineered solution that works together with theĀ transmission crossmember and headers to optimize the engine placement & component clearances along with ideal drivetrain / U-joint operation angles. The engine placement eliminates modifications to the firewall and the engine mounting brackets fit the K-member on cars that originally came from the factory with a V8 engine. Firewall clearance provided for the use of a Short Runner Valve (SRV) intake solenoid (no need to lock valve and sacrifice top end performance). Use with 2009 & up 5.7L, 6.2L, or 6.4L car style factory accessory drive system (variable valve timing accessory drive system with low mount alternator), or a Holley Mid-Mount accessory drive system.

Hooker BlackHeart 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Engine Swap Transmission Crossmember & Transmission Adapters

Hooker BlackHeart’s transmission crossmembers and adapters for the 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body accept the popular Chrysler A727 3-speed automatic, NAG-1 five-speed automatic, or GM-style Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission (Use Crossmember support BHS588 for the Tremec TKX transmission). Each transmission uses an application specific adapter plate that is sold separately from the BHS572 crossmember. No cutting or drilling is necessary to install the crossmember, just bolt it in the factory location using the supplied hardware. These crossmembers are designed to use a popular and inexpensive GM-style transmission mount for its compact design that allows for better ground clearance than the factory crossmember (Hooker part number 71223029HKR or 71223030HKR – sold separately). Solid 3/16″ steel construction and black coated finish provides long lasting performance and good looks.

Hooker BlackHeart 1973-1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Swap Headers – Shorty Style

Hooker BlackHeart headers are part of a comprehensive Gen III Hemi swap system that works in combination with engine mounts, transmission crossmember, and exhaust systems. BH23104 headers are packed with value added features that will make your 1973 -1976 Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi swap easier than ever. These headers can use popular transmissions with either driver or passenger side starters, and the starter can be installed without removing the headers, and they clear Borgeson Power steering boxes 800126 or 800127. These headers are designed for a simple installation that provides the most ground clearance possible, and clears the popular torsion bar front suspension. The 304 stainless steel hand-welded construction looks great and will last a lifetime.

Holley 1967-1976 Mopar A-Body Power Steering Hardline Kit for Gen III Hemi Swap

The headers are really close to the power steering lines on the Mopar A-Body Gen III Hemi Swap. These metal power steering hardlines provide extra protection from header heat & must be used with in combination with a Borgeson power steering box (either p/N 800126 or 800127) and Hooker Blackheart swap headers BH23104.
The factory power steering box is too large to fit with a Gen III Hemi Swap, so we developed this system to allow power steering. The power steering system uses the slimmer Borgeson steering box, Hooker BlackHeart BH23104 swap headers, and this power steering hardline set. Earlā€™s power steering hose and hose ends are recommended for the flexible power steering hoses.
