Official Release:
Get Dyno Proven Power Gains with a Trick Flow® R-Series Intake Manifold for Small Block Chevrolet
When Trick Flow saw a void in the market for an ultra-high-performance intake manifold for small block Chevy engines, its engineers went to work. What they came up with was the R-Series intake manifold—just the ticket for engines making 600+ horsepower with large port cylinder heads in the 3,500-7,500+ RPM operating range.
The secret to the R-Series manifold’s success is its CAD-optimized one-piece, single plane spider design with a raised plenum floor and a large open plenum. Trick Flow engineers took special care to make sure that airflow is particularly smooth for equalized air and fuel distribution. The manifold is cast from strong yet lightweight A319 aluminum to keep weight down, but enough material was left around the port openings so it can be port matched and/or fully ported.
Trick Flow didn’t forget you N2O fans either as the R-Series manifold features cast-in integral bosses that can be drilled and tapped for nitrous nozzles. Up top, the carburetor mounting flange is ready to accept the Holley 4150-style carb of your choice.
The Trick Flow R-Series Intake Manifold for Small Block Chevy is optimized to work with their Super 23® 230cc cylinder heads, but dyno testing proves it performs equally well on any brand heads with 220cc and larger intake ports.
