It’s that time of year, the birds are chirping, flowers are blowing, and important bets are being placed. Everyone is dying to make their picks and put together the perfect bracket. Oh, you thought we were talking about basketball, didn’t you? Fat chance! On All Cylinders has released their 4th Muscle Car Match Up. The Hot Rod Edition 2016 is freshly out, and we are completely stuck on our round one picks!
This year is a little different than the ones of the past, it includes some hot rod models this go-round. The old hot rods placed in the brackets are those which paved the way for the muscle car era. They’re bringing some distinctive style to the 2016 match up.
So, how do you work through this match up? It’s really simple, just choose which car you like the best. You can do it without rhyme or reason, ‘just because’ you like it better is reason enough to pick a car.
The 32 cars included this years are going to be hard to pick from. The first round is obviously going to separate people by brand loyalty, but good look past that! As soon as we had to choose between a 1964 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Chevy 454 Chevelle SS, we broken down. Then started to think that maybe the Boss 429 deserved more thought in the first round, and that’s as far as we’ve gotten.
You can follow the draft in a few different ways. First, you should tell us your picks on our Facebook page here. You can also follow each round on the On All Cylinders Facebook here, or Summit’s Facebook page here. We’ll be updating through the rounds here, to keep it simple, so check back for results.
Picking through these 32 awesome hot rods and muscles cars is going to be challenging for any enthusiast!
